Links at Bodega Harbour is a Semi-Private 18 hole golf course located in Bodega Bay, California.
The back nine was originally opened in 1978. Then, in 1987, the front nine was added to complete the full 18. Extensive renovations were done beginning in the fall of 2007 and over 96 bunkers were re-constructed and all 18 greens were stripped of the Poa Ana grass and bentgrass was added. Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the golf course.
Perched along the spectacular Sonoma County Coast, the Links at Bodega Harbour combines breathtaking natural beauty with a a true Scottish style links design.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 6,290 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,801 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 512 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 158 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 405 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The Links at Bodega Harbour is # 10, a 339 yard par-4.

This course is in great shape! The attention to the details of play are remarkable. The breakfast burrito at the turn energizes you for the back nine. Great staff, beautiful ocean views from every hole and the calming influence of crashing waves and barking seals.

This is a terrific yet challenging course. After a bad shot take a minute and enjoy the awesome views of the Pacific and Bodega Bay and it's almost as if the not too good shot never occurred. Without doubt, one of Robert Trent Jones Jr's best.

So, I am biased as a member, but we recently built a new Proshop with attached snack bar, and the greater variety and better food and the ease that the new Proshop adds are great! The course is looking terrific, altho the bent grass greens had a tough winter. The Greens Pro is all over it, and in another 6 weeks, they should be stellar. Come and play our version of the "poor man's Pebble Beach" since the views from each hole are terrific.

We played this course on a perfect day. I have played it many times in deep fog and high winds. Both extremes are fun and worth the play (though the windscan be frustrating). #5 hole is at the very top and affords a killer view of teh bay and ocean beyond. In the fog, it's impossible. However, that's all part of teh experience. I highly recommend this course.

This is a beautiful course, with great views of the ocean on a few holes, and excellent course conditions throughout. If you don't hit into the hill on the right on the 4th hole, you'll wish you had. A really fun course, with challenging greens and a very interesting layout, but is still score friendly. Of all of the rounds I've played, the half dozen or so here remain some of the most memorable.

Remove the houses from the view and you could easily be on similar layout in western Ireland I've played.

My son and I have played this course every April for the last 3 years and really enjoy it. #'s 4,5,16 and 18 are great holes. We play early in the morning so pace of play for us is 3 hours in a cart. Only complaint would be greens are a little rough and bunkers are never raked.

This is Bodega Bay and is on the ocean. The scenery is worth half the price all by itself. There are houses but most courses have them. The course is links style so the greens are like tabletops, but the fairway condition is quite nice. Not necessarily a course you want to walk, but you can. There is a great restaurant on the course and a small snack shack when you break in the middle. In my times playing, I have not seen a refreshment cart so not even sure this occurs. On the day we played there were few people, but the weather was fantastic. No wind like they can get so it was overall a very delightful time.

We were fortunate to find a great deal via discount golf website as usually costs between $60-$85. Still a gorgeous course on ocean - can be quite windy though.

Bodega Harbour Golf Links is a tough seaside course. The course is not very long but it is very challenging. There are views of ocean on almost every hole. They are having difficulty keeping the greens in good condition.

If you love links style golf, ocean views, and lots of wind -- this is the course for you to play! Reminds me of British links, climate included! Another plus: their restaurant serves the best eggs benedict ever! If this weren't such a long drive, I'd play this course more!!!

This course offers a variety of conditions along with a variety of shots. I've played here on glorious days, calm with abundant sunshine and days when the wind is up. When the wind blows it can challenge not only your game but your personality. If you should play when the wind is up, play the shot you know you can make, not the shot you hope to make. Have fun...enjoy.
